There needs to be a stop light placed there. The traffic is too heavy throughout most of the day for the cars coming from the McDonald's side and CAMC hospital side to pull out onto MacCorkle Avenue. People dart out in front of you when they see you slow down and have your signal light on to turn up like your going to South Park Rd

I live on Pond Branch Road ----dead road now--Because someone has gated off the only connecting road exit (in case of emergency we have no way out)---Shady Forks Road which is on the map as a passable road--if there is a forest fire, flood, or a traffic accident on U.S. Route 35 we here on Pond Branch Road have no exit route.......This is an on going issue for us here and the county and D.O.T. in Charleston. Couple of hunting seasons ago a hunter was injured and because the roads are blocked it took many hours for EMS to reach him. We need Shady Forks Road open to the public for safety reason for our community ----but no one is paying attention .....thanks-- sharon

The speed limit on this road is 25. I live on a short strech of straight road. In the evenings between 4pm and 8pm there are people driving and passing on double lines. I would estimate some at speeds greater than 65. Come out some day and see for yourself, and for the sake of the children. You can sit on my porch,bring your camera crew.

Valley View Road, Queen Sholes WV Kanawha/Clay line. Cross Queen Sholes bridge, take 1st right, almost immediately off of bridge. There is no road sign.

Since water line went through, the road is falling apart!!! It was bad before, but even worse now. Pot holes big enough to lose a small car, slips into the creek/over the hill, slips coming into the road from hillsides, ditches overflowing into road when it rains. The road is half Kanawha/half Clay. Neither one will touch it. If we call them, they tell us they have no intention of doing anything because they don't have the funds. It will be pretty much impassable by winter if they don't fix it soon.

In 2006 the WV Department of Highways placed a 60” drainage pipe under Big Tyler Road, Cross Lanes, and connected it to an existing, privately owned 24” drain pipe running under several properties including my own. Every time it rains this poor engineering leads to severe flooding of my property and erosion of (lower) Sun Valley Drive, a privately owned road. The DOH acted irresponsibly, shifting their own flooding issue downstream, and refusing to properly correct this problem. I contacted several law firms in the past, none showed interest in suing the State. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is alot off pot holes that you have to get in the other laned to miss them and if cars are comeing, then you just have to hit the pot holes and hope that you dont tear your car up. It';s getting bad in Cross Lanes!!! I just wish that they fix the roads before somebody gets hurt!! I have a 6 year old daughter and a disabled mother that I have to take to the Drs and I dont like driveing on Big Tyler or Washington st with them due to the traffic and the potholes!! I almost got in 4 wrecks just in the past week due to sombody almost hitting me trying to miss the potholes!!!

There is alot of pot holes so bad that the fastest that you can drive is 5 mph/. They need to do something about it.And to make it bad is that you still scrap your car while driving!!!! I have to go up to see my dad daily due to him having cancer and he is elderly. I have to gouo there and I am afraid that I am going to tear my car up.

The road is full of potholes, its ruff driving through. The state road hasn't paved it in 15 years or longer. Also, when it rains the whole road floods and water comes down into my yard and on my front porch. It needs fixed bad !

Speeders in this residential neighborhood... Its like people try and see how fast they can get from one stop sign to another... There are atleast 20 kids that play on this block and the drivers have absolutely no care about any of them... Everytime I am outside with my kids I have to yell at people to slow down and get nothing but returned cursing and the middle finger... Calling the police doesnt help because it is the same people that do it over and over... There either needs to be more patrol or the city needs to place speed bumps before one of your children gets killed...

From Cheylan bridge going east on Rt 60 is nothing but bumpy roads. Potholes are all in the roads. They fill but because of the trucks and traffic, it's horrible. There are lines that are like running over small road bumps. It has messed up the front end of my car from driving it every day. A small mile of the road has been paved about 2 months ago and then they stopped paving. Will anything every be done?
