Route 60 on the way toward Charleston
Route 60, Kanawha County, West Virginia

Route 60 is a huge mess with potholes, but my main concern is the one in the left lane when you go to merge onto the highway from Route 60. It's huge and you can't miss it. It's directly under the overpass after you pass the Malden Gino's.

5385 Kellys Creek to Route 34
Hurricane, Putnam County, West Virginia

School begins again on Aug. 18, and if they do not pave before winter, school buses are in no way going to be able to come out anymore. If they don't slip over and injure our kids before then. Chunks are now missing right over the creek next to Route 34 that it's going to be too narrow for cars to get through once this winter damages it further. With snow covering as well, there will likely be cars over into the creek because it will become impossible to see these slips. Would the DOH prefer to pave it one time, or waste money throwing down gravel multiple times, or be sued for a death due to neglect. The residents of Kellys Creek pay their taxes the same as everyone else.

July 27, 2014
The entire length of MacCorkle Avenue between Big Lots in Kanawha City and Charleston Area Medical Center's Memorial Hospital. Also the road from the Boulevard to the on-ramp of 64/77/79 past Women and Children's Hospital.
Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia

The road has buckled and raised to the point a car can leave the road's surface by simply going over 25 mph. It is my understanding that anyone working in Charleston pays a "user fee" to work in Charleston. Where is this money going if it is supposed to be earmarked to fix the roads and other structures in the city? I haven't seen any roadwork for two years. The very least that could be done is that they grind down the bumps so my car is not damaged again.
