Victim's Impact Statementfrom Eyewitness News Online Hurricane Woman Talks About Terror Of Violent Purse Snatching February 15, 2013
A Hurricane woman gave an emotional victim's impact statement during the sentencing of a man and woman convicted in a violent purse snatching that occurred at a Kanawha County reststop.
In Kanawha Circuit Court Friday, victim Carolyn Boster, 75, talked about how the robbery was the most terrifying experience of her life. Boster was knocked down, kicked and her purse was stolen in September 2012. Bradley Molden, 40, of Newark, Ohio, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his role in planning and directing the crime. Stephanie Hammel, 45, of Utica, Ohio, was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Accompanying this story is the raw footage of Boster as she makes her victim's impact statement.
