We want to know what you think of Bayer's plans to restart production of MIC.

Your comments:
Comment: Do not like this risk. The company has shown that we cannot trust them. from Cross Lanes by Kathy

Comment: bad idea to big a risk, they should only be aloud to produce that stuff in an area that doesnt have any major population around from red house wv by dusty

Comment: I live clase enough to the plant that I would die if it exploded so NO I do not want MIC anywhere near Charleston. The people that are pushing for it definitely are not in the danger zone. Tell them to put MIC in their backyard. from Charleston/WV by Justin

Comment: I think that Bayer is crazy to restart the making of MIC. It is so dangerous and will endanger so many peoples lives. That place always smells and who knows how many unclaimed leaks there are. Also why would they make such a harmful chemical next to a college. This will not only put their lives in danger but also turn people away from going to WVSU. If they decided to make this chemical it will be one sad ending. from Nitro, WV by Mary

Comment: I'm for it. from South Charleston, WV by Jane

Comment: I think they should just because of the way the economy is. Like we really need more WV workers out of a job! I'm sure their all other chemicals more deadly then MIC! from Nitro by Michelle

Comment: more production more hours for employees or maybe more jobs, dont like it move or Bayer will and take jobs with them. from hurricane wv by jon

Comment: Bayer is going to restart the MIC unit? from Charleston, WV by Furrie

Comment: FIRST OF ALL YOU CLEAN UP THE PLACE AND THEN HIRE THE RIGHT PEOPLE FOR THE JOB TO HELP GET THE COMPANY STARTED. from CHARLESTON W.V. by SAMMY LEE

Comment: I think part of their decision is based on Dunbar annexation, they found out they are grandfathered and the city of Dunbar can't tax them. MIC is no more dangerous than a lot of other chemicals in the plant. There are also way more safety devices then there was in Baypaul. I say keep the jobs in the valley. from Dunbar Wv by Regina
