Dan Matics
Hi everyone. I joined the Eyewitness News team in August of 2011, and am very excited to cover news and tell the stories of people in this area.
I was born and raised in Roane County, West Virginia and consider it a privilege to be working for the TV station I grew up watching. Before coming to WCHS – FOX 11, I spent a year and a half at WOWK-TV 13, reporting and producing. In 2008, I was recognized by the United Nations Foundation, for a story exposing the hazardous health conditions some West Virginians face using well water.
