Dan Matics
Hi everyone. I joined the Eyewitness News team in August of 2011, and am very excited to cover news and tell the stories of people in this area.
I was born and raised in Roane County, West Virginia and consider it a privilege to be working for the TV station I grew up watching. Before coming to WCHS – FOX 11, I spent a year and a half at WOWK-TV 13, reporting and producing. In 2008, I was recognized by the United Nations Foundation, for a story exposing the hazardous health conditions some West Virginians face using well water. When I’m not at work, you can catch me skiing, on the golf course, and spending time with friends and family. Connect with Dan:
