A colorful salad for any time of the year. April 23, 2012
Ingredients
Salad: 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped 1 head leaf lettuce, chopped 1 small Red onion, thinly sliced 1/2 cup banana peppers 2 tomatoes, diced 1 (6 oz.) can black olives, sliced, drained 1/2 cup Romano cheese, shredded 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated Caesar salad croutons Dressing: 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/3 cup vinegar 2 teaspoon olive oil 1 Tablespoon. lemon juice 2 Tablespoon Karo 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes Directions Salad: Assemble first 6 ingredients in a large salad bowl. Sprinkle with Romano & Parmesan cheese. Top with croutons. Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk dressing ingredients together. Before serving, pour dressing over salad to coat.
