A fantastic cookie recipe made with White Chocolate Chips and Cran-raisins. March 12, 2012
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 cup butter 2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon soda 1-1/2 cups cran-raisins 2 eggs 2 cups quick oats 1 cup nuts (optional) – I have used raw pecans in the video 2 cups white chocolate chips 1 splash vanilla Directions In you mixer, blend shortening and butter together. Then add the brown and white sugars, and eggs. Next add the flour, salt and soda into the mixture. Finally, add vanilla, nuts, cran-raisins, and white chocolate chips. Drop the dough by spoonfuls onto the cookie sheet. (I use a 1-1/2 inch cookie baller.) Flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-11 minutes.
