This sweet snack is so simple and tasty. Warning! Once you start eating it you may not stop.
We make this all year round, but around the holidays it’s really popular.

2 cups whole pecans
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 tteaspoon baking soda

Directions
Heat oven to 250°F.

Combine cereal & pecans.

In a small to medium saucepan, combine corn syrup, brown sugar and butter. Heat mixture until boiling. Stir in vanilla and baking soda.

Pour over cereal mixture. Stir to coat cereal & pecans evenly.

Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
