Hands down this is the most requested recipe at The Miller Haus B&B. Chock full of chocolate chips these cookies have a lovely texture and don’t last long around our place.

Ingredients
2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoon Bickford pure vanilla
1 pkg. (3-1/2 oz.) vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs
1-1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1-1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1-1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Directions
Preheat oven to 375° F.

Combine flour and baking soda; set aside.

In separate bowl, combine butter, margarine, sugars and vanilla. Be sure to scrape your mixing bowl at intervals while beating. Add pudding mix. Beat again until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop on ungreased cookie sheets by the tablespoonfuls. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until slightly brown around the edges.
