Double Delicious Cookie May 23, 2011
I’m not sure why these cookies are called triple treats, but I have a feeling it has something to do with the two cookies being held together by a delicious peanut butter filling. These are perfect with a cup of coffee or a big glass of milk.
Ingredients Cookie 1 cup butter, melted 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 cup peanut butter 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 teaspoon baking soda 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips 3 cups flour Filling 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/3 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 3 cups powdered sugar Directions Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large mixing bowl, mix butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Then, beat in eggs and peanut butter. Add in vanilla, baking soda, salt, chocolate chips, and flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. For filling add milk to powdered sugar, mix well. Add peanut butter and vanilla. When cool put filling in between two cookies. Tips This batter will be oily - don’t let that scare you! Got Questions? Visit The Miller Haus Bed & Breakfast Copyright ©2011 WCHS-TV Eyewitness News. All rights reserved.
