You'll make this cake more than once April 25, 2011
We love a good cake at our house. And at The Miller Haus for dessert too! Whether you’re a guest or our family this cake is buttery, rich and so very delicious. I promise you will make it more than once!
Ingredients Cake Ingredients 1 cup butter or margarine 1 cup water 2 cups flour 2 cups sugar 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup sour cream Frosting Ingredients 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar Directions In a large saucepan bring butter and water to a boil. Remove from heat. Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. Stir into the hot mixture. Add eggs and sour cream and stir until smooth. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan. bake at 375°F for 20-22 minutes or until done. Cool for 20 minutes. Meanwhile for frosting, combine butter and milk in saucepan; bring to a boil.
