Man arrested in Ky. hit-and-run deaths of 2 girls
July 26, 2008 6:03 PM

LOUISVILLE, Ky.
Kentucky authorities say they have charged a man with killing two young girls hit by a car fleeing from a traffic stop in Louisville.

Police say 26-year-old Keneille D. Finch was captured Saturday and charged with two counts of murder. He is accused of running a red light and striking the girls after driving away from an officer who stopped him Friday evening near the University of Louisville.

Finch was in custody and police would not say if he had retained an attorney.

The girls were identified as 4-year-old Riley Jane Lawrence and 5-year-old Claudia Wadlington. Police say the mother of one of the girls was also hit and broke several bones.

Finch's Pontiac Grand Am was found abandoned about three blocks away.
