After a lengthy debate over whether a child's playhouse should be allowed to stay in a Lexington neighborhood, the homeowner's association has issued its answer: no. The Andover Forest Homeowner's Association sent an e-mail to about 500 homeowners in the subdivision on Tuesday detailing its decision, according to WLEX-TV . The letter said the playhouse is against the rules and residents did not provide proof that it is "necessary." Tiffiney and George Veloudis say the house is therapeutic for their young son, who has cerebral palsy, and they asked for a waiver from the rules. The say they gave the board opinions from their son's doctors. The dispute has caught the attention of state lawmakers. A bill has been introduced that would allow the family to keep the playhouse.
