Ky. Military History Museum to reopen November 06, 2009 4:01 AM
FRANKFORT, Ky.
The Kentucky Military History Museum is reopening on a temporary basis later this month.
The museum is located at the Old State Arsenal on Arsenal Hill in downtown Frankfort. The building itself was built in 1850 and it's listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
It's been closed for two years for renovations, including the replacement of the building's heating and air conditioning systems.
There's still more restoration work to be done. But the museum is opening on Saturdays starting Nov. 14.
