Huntington , Cabell County , West Virginia

A major renovation to the federal building in downtown Huntington is close to completion.

The building is home to the U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers and has been under construction since 2011.

Not only is this great news for employees in the building, but also for people who drive by it along Fifth Avenue. During construction, Fifth Avenue went from four lanes to two lanes. Now motorists said they are glad to see the road back open instead of bottlenecked. Chris Caserta is one of those drivers who is glad to see the difference.

"It was actually a pain in the rear-end before, but now that's it's all cleared, there's a lot easier access," Caserta said.

The building is supposed to be more energy efficient and safe for employees once it's complete in November.
