Debra Dunlap calls this Lincoln County home Camp David -- a property fit for the president.
"I just never would have thought that this would happen. It's just been devastating. It really has," Dunlap said.
It's a home she designed and built for her brother David just to bring him a little closer to family.
He was 54-years-old, handicapped and suddenly passed away in December.
"Dave loved flowers and plants and you know we were going to have a garden. We had the next 10 years planned. And then he left me," Dunlap said.
After David's passing, the designing of Camp David kind of came to a halt, but Debra would visit the house often.
And on a visit this week, she was stunned to find the front window was gone.
The big screen tv was unmounted. Bose speakers stolen and the wires cut. Several drawers and cabinets were left wide open. And the washer and dryer was gone as well.
But this home wasn't the crook's only target.
One neighbor just across the street said more than $8,000 worth of his property is gone.
That's why a sign reading "no laws in Lincoln County. Owner will shoot thieves" is proudly displayed in his yard.
"Maybe one of these days they'll come to their senses and be respectable tax paying citizens and the same thing happens to them," Dunlap said.
The family tells Eyewitness News they hope to rebuild and repair the damage.
