South Charleston Police are hoping tips from the public can help them crack a multi-county theft case from a popular retail store.

Police say two men have stolen thousands of dollars in electronics from Target in South Charleston, as well as the location in Barboursville.

The first incident happened on May 31 at the South Charleston store. The two men walked out with two televisions and a sound bar totaling more than $1,000

On June 12, the duo struck again and attempted to steal two more televisions and a pair of headphones, but they were deterred.

The same day, they went to the Barboursville store and stole two more televisions.

Target security says they are driving a silver Jeep Liberty but they have spotted two different tags on the vehicle. The first had WV Centennial plates 039309 and the second had WV plates DKC 748.

The suspects park in the fire lane and the driver pops open the passenger door, so they are able to load their stolen items in about five minutes before they take off, police said.

"The vechile these individuals are driving I think is pretty recognizable, you throw that with photographs of these guys, the combination of the the two, I think someone should know who these individuals are. Based on them doing this, I think that Target is probably not the only place that these individuals have stolen from, they've probably stolen from some other places that we may not be aware of yet," says South Charleston Police Detective Andrew Gordon.

If you have any information, call South Charleston Police at 744-6903.
