All Lanes Of I-64 West Between Dunbar, Institute Reopen After Wreck

INSTITUTE, W.Va. (Jeff Morris) -- All lanes of Interstate 64 West between Dunbar and Institute have reopened after a two-vehicle wreck.

Metro 911 said the lanes reopened about 1:40 p.m. Monday. The slow and center lanes had been closed after the wreck.

A tractor-trailer carrying parcels and a car were involved in the 11:45 a.m. accident that involved a tractor-trailer carrying parcels and a car. One person was transported to the hospital.

The center and slow lanes in the area remained closed down about 12:30 p.m.





INSTITUTE, W.Va. -- The slow and center lanes of Interstate 64 West are shut down between Dunbar and Institute after a two-vehicle wreck involving a tractor-trailer, Metro 911 said.

The accident happened about 11:45 a.m. Monday, an emergency dispatcher said. A tractor-trailer hauling parcels and a passenger vehicle were involved in the accident.

Three minor injuries were being reported.

The Dunbar Fire Department and the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office responded.
