CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Jeff Morris) – Snow, at least measurable accumulation, is out of the forecast for the next week, but don’t expect it to warm up anytime soon. A wind chill advisory is in effect for the Eyewitness News viewing area from 5 p.m. Monday until 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Chief Meteorologist Jim Barach said temperatures will drop into the single digits Monday night, and the high for Tuesday is only expected to hit 14 degrees. Wednesday is expected to reach a high of 22 degrees. Lows overnight for Tuesday and Wednesday are forecast to drop into the single digits.

Meanwhile, temperatures start to rebound toward the end of the week, with highs in the 40s Thursday and Friday and the 50s by Saturday, Barach said.

Next week, Barach said, temperatures should be in the seasonal range.
