-- Schlotzsky's restaurant, 4600 MacCorkle Ave., South Charleston, donating 1,000 cases of water starting at 10 a.m. Sunday until supplies run out. Limit of one case of water per family.
-- Islamic Association of WV, 1 Valley Drive, South Charleston, will distribute water, paper plates/cups from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday
-- West Virginia Division of Highways Headquarters, 2334 MacCorkle Avenue, St. Albans, 24 hour distribution service, open on Monday. Bring your own containers.
-- Pinch Volunteer Fire Department at the Old Clendenin Lumbar Yard also known as Blue Creek Boat Launch as of Sunday ( this is for livestock, must bring your own containers)
-- St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 815 Kanawha Terrace, St. Albans, until 9 p.m. Monday. Bottled water available, and you also can bring containers.
-- Saint Marks Episcopal Church, 405 B St., St. Albans, will be distributing water beginning 1 p.m. Monday.
-- Crossing Baptist Church, 2031 Harrison Ave., St. Albans, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Bring your own container.
-- First Baptist Church, located Second Street and Sixth, Avenue, St. Albans, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday. Bring your own container.

If you or someone you know is a shut-in in Kanawha County, you're advised to contact Kanawha County 911's non-emergency line at (304) 746-8828 for assistance.

Roane County:

-- Walton Volunteer Fire Department open Monday from 9 a.m. to about 8 p.m. Handing out cases of water and filling containers of water. The department is also offering its showers to the those who need it.

Lincoln County:

-- West Hamlin Volunteer Fire Department, 121 Guyan St., West Hamlin open from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday. The department does have some bottled water. You're asked to bring your own containers to fill with clean water. The department is also offering its showers for use - just bring your own towels and toiletries to use.
-- Hamlin Volunteer Fire Department, 8049 Vine Ave. , Hamlin. Open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday. Offering bottled water and clean water to put in your own containers.

Boone County:

-- Madison Fire Department across from Boone County Courthouse, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. Bottled water available.
-- Racine Fire Department, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Bottled water available.
-- Danville Town Hall, 8 a.m to 5 p.m. Monday. Bottled water available.
-- Wharton-Barrett Volunteer Fire Department, 35279 Pond Fork Road, Wharton




CHARLESTON, W.Va.-- Officials in Kanawha and Putnam counties were continuing to respond to the water crisis by offering water at multiple sites.

In South Charleston, the South Charleston Community Center is no longer a site, but Gestamp in South Charleston has been serving as a location. Gestamp depleted its supply from a water buffalo, but officials expected to have more water for the buffalo about 3 p.m. Friday. Bottled water was expected to be at the site for distribution between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, in Institute, West Virginia State University was back open as a water distribution site.

In Putnam County, the Tri-County YMCA in Putnam County is assisting in the water crisis by offering anyone in the community who needs a shower to come in to the facility or if individuals need to fill up water containers.

Hours of operation will be 5:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; and Sunday, if needed, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. On Monday, the facility will be open from 5:30 a.m. and stay open until 10 p.m.

Free water also is available at the John Henson Senior Center in Hurricane.




ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (Bethany Simmons) -- First Baptist Church in St. Albans has been set up as a water distribution center for WV residents needing clean water.

The water from the church is supplied by the city of St. Albans and is not affected by the curretn water crisis. The church which is located at 523 2nd Street in St. Albans, encourages community members to bring their own containers to fill at the church until 7 p.m. Friday.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Jeff Morris) -- The Cedar Volunteer Fire Department has opened as a distribution point for water. You must bring your own containers to retrieve the water.

Meanwhile, Kanawha County officials said in a news release Friday that the Pinch Volunteer Fire Department has opened up a water distribution center for agricultural needs for livestock needs.

The location for water distribution for livestock is at the Old Clendenin Lumbar Yard, also known as Blue Creek Boat Launch. You must bring your own container to haul the water for your livestock.




HURRICANE, W.Va. (Jeff Morris) -- Putnam County emergency officials announced water distribution sites that are open Friday in the county.

Emergency Services Director Frank Chapman said people who need water should bring their containers to the following locations:

Chapman Funeral Home in Teays Valley
YMCA, Scott Depot
Hurricane Fire Department
Walmart parking lot, Hurricane.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Jeff Morris) -- More locations are opening Friday in the area to give people options to get water.

The East Bank Fire Department is opening a water distribution center at 10:30 a.m. People were advised to bring their own containers.

Meanwhile, the Hansford Senior Center in St. Albans is open Friday and serving lunch. All other senior centers in the affected area are closed. Seniors in those areas are welcome to come to the Hansford Center, located at 500 Washington St., St. Albans, for a meal. They may bring their own containers to fill with clean drinking water.

In Cabell County, the Milton Water Plant will distribute water from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. People are advised to bring their own containers.

In Roane County, a water distribution point was open at the Walton Volunteer Fire Department. People are advised to bring their own containers.




CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Jeff Morris) -- A fourth water distribution site has been added in Kanawha County.

County officials said in a news release on Friday that West Virginia State University will be a distribution site until 6 p.m. Other Kanawha County distribution sites are the Crossings Mall in Elkview, Riverside High School and the South Charleston Recreation Center.

In Putnam County, the city of Hurricane will be distributing water at the Walmart in the city. Also, Teays Valley Christian will be distributing water starting at 10 a.m. Residents were being advised to bring their own containers to the Teays Valley site.




CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Jeff Morris) -- Sites have been set up in Kanawha County where residents can get water.

Three locations have been set up, and additional locations will be set up within the hour, according to a news release from Kanawha County officials issued about 8:40 a.m. Friday. Distribution sites are at the Crossings Mall in Elkview, Riverside High School and the South Charleston Recreation Center.

Citizens will need to take their own containers, plastic bottles, jugs and pitchers, to obtain water from the water buffalos and water tankers.

Officials said they are still working to obtain bottled water to place throughout Kanawha County at distribution centers. Home Depot in the Southridge Centre area reported it just received a truckload of water.

In Putnam County, the city of Hurricane will be distributing water at the Walmart in the city.

The Kanawha County water buffalos and water tankers were obtained by Kanawha County emergency officials through the assistance of West Virginia American Water and the National Guard.

If you are elderly, disabled or ill and cannot access water, please call the Emergency Operations Center at 304-746-8828 for assistance. Water will not be delivered to homes unless there is a serious illness.
