HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (Darrah Wilcox) -- Huntington police are still looking for the man they believe robbed an ice cream parlor late last week.

The robbery was all caught on tape when a man walked into the Hal Greer Boulevard location about 7 p.m. Friday, showed an employee a gun, and grabbed cash from the cash register.

Another man inside the restaurant tried to push the suspect several times before he got away. No one was hurt, but police say it's not an action they recommend, especially the suspect is armed. Lt. John Williams said, "We've always stressed that property and money is not worth your life. This could have easily turned into a tragic situation. Fortunately it did not for this individual. The public in general they get tired of these types of crimes."

More and more businesses are turning to video security systems to keep their employees and customers safe.

"Just because it's an easy target, doesn't mean it is. There's always going to be somebody watching," said Sun Shack Tanning Salon customer Krystal Hensley.

The tanning salon was robbed in November, and owner Racheal Ratliff went out the next day and bought surveillance equipment. The same man robbed the business five weeks later, but this time, they got a clear surveillance photo to share with police.

The public identified Khristian Brown less than 24 hours later. He admitted to robbing the business both times, and the monitoring system continues to give customers peace of mind.

Hensley said, "It makes me feel very safe. It makes me feel while I'm sitting in the tanning bed that somebody's here watching us, and watching our stuff while we're here, secure."

Police are hoping these images from Baskin Robbins can help them put another criminal behind bars.

Good video, information, tips from the public. That's what helps solve these crimes," said Williams.
