Lincoln County , West Virginia

State Police in Lincoln County were investigating an alleged home invasion Sunday.

The incident took place early in the morning on Watson Branch off Four Mile Road.

The victim told police a masked man came into his house, held him at gunpoint and stole his wallet.

The homeowner was not injured, but the suspect took off with his wallet.

After the reported home invasion, troopers in Lincoln County said they got a tip of a possible sighting of the suspect involved.

Police said they located two suspicious people along Route 10.

The female inside the car, Amanda May was arrested, and was charged as an accessory and for giving false information to police.

Police said the male suspect, Jeffery Adkins, took off on foot.

Police are still looking for Adkins, who now has warrants for burglary, armed robbery and brandishing.

Anyone who has seen him is asked to call State Police.

And as police were searching for the home invasion suspect, they said they also made separate drug arrests.

Police stopped a vehicle along Four Mile Road to question the driver about the home invasion on Watson Branch, and they said they spotted an inactive backpack-style meth lab.

The three people in the car, Darnell Vance, Johnnie Cremeans and Krista Vance were all arrested.

They were taken to the Western Regional Jail on drug charges.
