A Georgia woman has claimed her half of the $636 million Mega Millions jackpot, while the winner from California has yet to come forward.

And while the two winners will take home the big prize, there are some other folks who got lucky as well.

The jackpot may have been claimed, but a local store right in Kanawha County sold a winning ticket, too.

A person who bought a Mega Millions ticket in Belle is about to get an early Christmas present.

"I am really jealous of whoever got that ticket, Courtney Hill of Belle said. “I'm really jealous."

The ticket was bought at a 7-11 and the prize was $1million dollars.

Dale Burger owns a pizzaria in Belle.

"I think it's great that someone here wins the big money, rather than someone outside,” Dale Burger of Belle said. “It seems like everyone who wins the big money is not in West Virginia, and I'm glad it's in a small town."

And while business is successful for him and his son, that doesn't keep Burger from pressing his luck.

"I buy a ticket all the time,” he said. “Just wherever I am at the time, I'll buy tickets."

The winning numbers for this week's $636 million jackpot are 8, 14, 17, 20, 39; with 7 as the Mega Ball.

They’re numbers that Burger said he never would have picked on his ticket.

"I just let the machine pick the numbers,” he said. “I figure that's probably as good as I am."

But it's odds that keep some, like Hill, from playing the lottery.

"It's a very rare chance that you would win, so it's just not something I think about," she said.

The odds of hitting the jackpot? A one in 259 million chance you'll take home the prize.

The 7-Eleven store manager said no one has claimed the prize just yet.

As for the Mega Millions, the jackpot resets back to $15 million for tomorrow's drawing.

Someone who bought a Mega Millions lottery ticket at a West Virginia convenience store is $1 million richer.

West Virginia Lottery Director John Musgrave said a ticket for Tuesday night's drawing that is worth $1 million was sold at the 7-Eleven in Belle.

The ticket is a Match-5 winner, meaning the player matched all five white ball numbers and missed only the Mega Ball.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 8-14-17-20-39 with a Mega Ball of 7.
