A Putnam County family is thankful for their community's support after their home was destroyed by fire Wednesday morning.

Lisa Runion and her two kids are heartbroken now that everything they've known is in ruins after the fire. But at just 11-years-old, even the fire's youngest victim is able to count her family's blessings.

The Runions' mobile home is gutted after Wednesday morning's fire.

"I felt really bad because that's the house I grew up in," said Allison Runion, 11.

Allison, her mom and brother haven't been allowed to sift through the ashes of what's left to see if there's anything they can salvage. And even though the 11-year-old lost all her favorite toys, clothes, and presents under the Christmas tree, she realizes something very important.

"I don't really care that much because I know it can be replaced, and it's better that being lost than an actual family member," Runion said.

Thankfully, no one was home when the fire started. And as for personal belongings, a lot of community support is already pouring in, The Red Cross gave the family gift cards to buy Allison some new school clothes, her school classmates and neighbors are also donating clothes for mom Lisa and brother Jesse,18, even offering to buy them new Christmas gifts.

"It makes me feel very nice. It makes me feel like people love me and they care for me," Runion said.

It's a valuable sense of appreciation from a little girl and her family trying to put their lives back together.

Investigators think an electrical problem started the fire..

Luckily, Lisa Runion's dad lives nearby the home they lost, so she and her children are now staying with him. If you'd to make a donation to help the Runions, you can contact the American Red Cross locally at (304) 340-3650.

Here are the sizes of clothing the family needs:
Lisa: Size Medium women's shirts, size 14 pants, size 8 shoes
Allison, age 11: Size Medium junior's shirts, size medium junior's leggings style stretch pants, size 8 shoes
Jesse, age 18: Size Medium men's shirts, 32 x 32 pants, size 11 men's shoes
