Charleston , Kanawha County , West Virginia

With temperatures expected to rise above freezing Tuesday afternoon, the worst of the weather event for the area is over.

But Eyewitness News Meteorologist Doug Harlow still issued a word of caution -- be on the watch for the possibility of black ice.

Harlow said temperatures are expected to fall into the teens tonight. Roadways are already wet, so black ice conditions could develop.
