WV DOT Releases List Of Current Road Closures

Here is a current list of road closures throughout the area from the West Virginia Department of Transportation.

Boone County:
PD Fork Road closed due to high water.
Low Gap Road closed due to high water.

Cabell County:
Clark Estates closed from WV-2 to the top of the hill. Alternate Route at Guyan River Road.

Clay County:
Groves Creek Road closed due to high water.

Kanawha County:
Smith Creek Road (Ferrell Road Intersection) closed due to high water.
Little Coal River Road closed due to high water.
Witcher Creek Road, one lane closed due to high water.
Strawberry Road closed due to high water.
Ferrell Road closed due to high water.
Upper Falls Road closed due to high water.
Dutch Hollow Road closed due to high water.

Lincoln County:
Trace Fork closed due to high water.
Coal River is closed due to a rock slide.
Caney Branch Road is closed due to high water.
Big Ugly Creek closed due to washed out roadway.
Ten Mile Road, one mile from Route 10, closed due to high water.
Kentuck Fork closed due to high water.
Green Shoals closed due to washed out roadway.

Logan County:
Madison Creek closed due to washed out roadway.
Garretts Fork closed due to high water.
WV-10, two miles north of Chapmanville, closed due to high water.
Striker Fork Road closed due to high water.

Mason County:
Robinson Creek closed due to a washed out bridge at Potters Creek. Detour at County Route 12/7 & County Route 15.
At Kapp Bridge closed due to power pole in the roadway.

Mingo County:
Hell Creek closed due to high water.

Nicholas County:
Widen-Dillie Road closed due to high water.
Phillips Run Road closed due to high water.
Muddlety Valley closed due to high water.


Putnam County:
Old Delta 18, also known as Big John Elliot Road, closed due to a collapsed culvert.
Manilla Creek Road closed due to high water.

Roane County:
Paxton Ridge closed due to rock slide. Detour from Ambler Ridge to Long Ridge.

Wayne County:
At Drift closed due to high water.
Old WV 37 at Spunky Truss Bridge closed.
