The man wounded in a stabbing in St. Albans has been identified as Douglas Wilson.
Wilson, 55, was stabbed outside his residence at 2713 Forrestal Avenue. Police said Jameson Edwards, 26, of St. Albans was arrested and charged with malicious wounding in connection with the incident that happened about 11 p.m. Monday.
Officers responding to the scene said they saw Edwards walking on Bard Avenue with blood on his face. One of the officers recognized the suspect, and police took Edwards back to the stabbing scene. Police said the victim told them that a man named Jameson had stabbed him.
Medical personnel at the hospital said Wilson has a punctured lung. A hospital spokeswoman said he is under evaluation at Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital.
One man was arrested and police continue to look for a second suspect after a stabbing Monday in St. Albans.
Jameson Edwards, 26, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding after police said he stabbed a 55-year-old man.
Police said the stabbing happened about 11 p.m. Monday when Edwards' wife lured the victim out of his home on Forrestal Avenue. Police said Edwards then beat the man and stabbed him in the side, puncturing his lung.
The victim was taken to a Charleston hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His name has not been released.
Edwards was being held in the South Central Regional Jail awaiting arraignment. Edwards had been arrested in the past on nighttime burglary and carrying a concealed weapon charges.

Police are on the scene of a stabbing in St. Albans.
It happened in the 2700 block of Forrestal Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. Monday.
Dispatchers said a man has reportedly been stabbed in the side of his upper body.
