Kings Dominion said it will not bring back its controversial “Miner’s Revenge” attraction next season.
"As part of its regular rotation, Kings Dominion does not intend to operate the Miner's Revenge Halloween attraction next year," a statement from the amusement park said.
The Virginia amusement park's Halloween haunt had some local coal mining families very upset.
The attraction is based on miners who died while trapped in an underground coal mine, seeking revenge when their rescue was deemed too dangerous.
This maze caused a lot of controversy, especially for those who lost loved ones in the Upper Big Branch mine disaster.
