The southbound lanes of U.S. 119 in Boone County were shut down while crews clean up a tractor-trailer accident, but the northbound lanes remained open.
Crews for a period of time had been diverting drivers into the northbound lanes to allow motorists to head both north and south, but they are no longer doing that while they move the truck.

The southbound lanes of U.S. 119 remained shut down following a tractor-trailer wreck, but emergency crews were diverting traffic into the northbound lanes to allow vehicles to head north and south.
The wreck happened Tuesday afternoon on a stretch of road between the Donald R. Kuhn Juvenile Center and the Stevens Auto Center, 911 said. The area is about 15 to 20 minutes from Charleston.
The southbound lanes of U.S. 119 were shut down in Boone County about 15 to 20 minutes from Charleston after a tractor-trailer overturned and plunged over a hillside, Boone County 911 said.
The wreck happened Tuesday afternoon on a stretch of road between the Donald R. Kuhn Juvenile Center and the Stevens Auto Center, 911 said.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, which was carrying gravel, had to be cut out of the vehicle and was flown to the hospital for treatment, emergency dispatchers said.
