Cross Lanes , Kanawha County , West Virginia
Two people were transported to the hospital after a collision on Interstate 64 near the Cross Lanes exit involving a driver heading in the wrong direction, Metro 911 said.
An emergency dispatcher said the wreck was reported about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday and occurred in the westbound lanes. He said two to three cars were involved in the accident.
The fast and middle lanes were shut down following the wreck. A dispatcher said the lanes reopened at 4:50 p.m. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office responded.
