Metro 911 said a portion of Paint Creek Road that had been closed earlier Monday after an accident involving a coal truck has reopened.
The accident that occurred about 9 a.m. initially closed the roadway at 3579 Paint Creek Road in the Pratt area.
One person was transported to the hospital following the wreck that involved a coal truck and another vehicle.
One person was transported to the hospital and a portion of Paint Creek Road was closed in Kanawha County following an accident involving a coal truck, Metro 911 said.
An emergency dispatcher said the roadway at 3579 Paint Creek Road in the Pratt area was closed following the two-vehicle accident that occurred about 9 a.m. The accident involved a coal truck and another vehicle. No coal was spilled on the road.
The dispatcher said about 10 a.m. that the roadway could be closed for another 30 minutes.
