The Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation authority voted Authority voted Thursday to reestablish service across the Nitro-St. Albans Bridge on a trial basis.
KVRTA had not used the bridge since 2007 due to weight restrictions.
The bridge was closed in 2011. A new bridge is scheduled to be opened on Nov. 1. KVTRA plans to begin service on Nov. 3.
KVRTA plans to post the new time tables for the route on its website www.RideonKRT.com.
