A man has been sentenced for robbing a bank in Athens County.
Emmanuel Arocho, 31, was sentenced to four years in prison Tuesday for one count of second-degree robbery in Athens County. Arocho was also ordered to pay restitution within four years after his release, according to a release from the Athens County Prosecutor's office.
In July 2013, Arocho walked into the Peoples Bank in Athens, handed the teller a note, demanded money and left the bank with about $3,100. The Athens Police Department handled the investigation.
