A Civil War battle reenactment at Burnsville Lake has been canceled because of the partial federal government shutdown.
The Battle of Bulltown reenactment was scheduled for Oct. 12 at the lake's Bulltown Campground.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said Wednesday that all of its campgrounds and day-use parks across the nation are closed. These facilities won't reopen until the shutdown is lifted.
The Battle of Bulltown occurred Oct, 13, 1863.
