Westbound MacCorkle Avenue in Charleston reopened at Thayer Street following a wreck involving a motorcycle and a car, Metro 911 said.
An emergency dispatcher said the wreck initially closed MacCorkle at Thayer Street following the 9 a.m. accident.
The motorcyclist injured in the wreck was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained a leg and lower body injury. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital.
Emergency crews were transporting a motorcyclist to the hospital Wednesday morning after a collision in Charleston with a car.
The accident happened about 9 a.m. at Thayer Street and MacCorkle Avenue, Metro 911 said.
