If you've ever wondered what it's like to swim below the surface of the Kanawha River, now you can find out.
The Department of Environmental Protection and Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission have set up a 2,200-gallon aquarium at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston.
The DEP shocked these fish at the confluence of the Kanawha and Elk rivers. The purpose of the aquarium is to prove that the Kanawha is a clean river.
More than 30 species of fish can be found in it.
The "Below the Waterline" exhibit will be at Haddad Riverfront Park through Wednesday night.
