An Amber Alert for a missing toddler in Kentucky is cancelled.
Jaylynn Maxey, 2, is safe Wednesday morning and her father is in police custody after a high speed chase.
Kentucky State Police arrested Joshua Yeager at around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday after chasing him for nearly an hour along Interstate 65 and US 31 at speeds up to 90 miles per hour.
The child was also in the car.
It was believed Yeager was taking Maxey to Indiana.
No word on what charges, if any, Yeager is facing.
Police say 24-year-old Joshua Yaeger took his two-year-old daughter Jaylynn Maxey from Shepherdsville. The two are believed to be headed to Indiana.
Maxey is 3'2" tall and 37 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black and pink tank top with a swirled design, white sandals and a pull-up. Police say she could also we wearing a white and yellow polka -dot top with white pants that have ruffles.
Yaeger is 6'1" and 185 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes, a full sleeve tatto on his right arm and a chinese symbol on the left side of his neck. He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt with a logo over the chest and green plaid shorts.
The two are believed to be traveling in a maroon Ford Tarus with plate number VHM20Z. The hood of the vehicle is painted a black or gray color.
Anybody with information should Yaeger or Maxey should call 911.
