South Harrison , West Virginia
A football player for a West Virginia high school has died.
Dylan Jeffries played for the South Harrison High School football team and died Monday, WDTV reported. Jeffries, who the station said had an aneurysm on his brain burst during a Sept. 27 football game against Lincoln last month, was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital where he died.
A Facebook page titled Dylan Jeffries Update page was created to keep friends informed about his condition.
Jeffries' death was announced on the Facebook page early Monday. A post on the page said in part, "Rest peacefully, our sweet Dylan. May you be forever pain free and at bliss with our Lord while you watch over everyone that you loved and cared for."
You can see the Dylan Jeffries Update page here.
