The Haunted Barn, on the East End of Charleston, is unleashing all its ghouls and it opens this weekend.
This is the second year of Haunted Barn.
The century old building, located on Beauregard Street, has been transformed into two floors of fright.
It has new layouts with new scares and it takes about 45 minutes to get through.
Joshua Harper, owner of the Haunted Barn, said they spare no expense for frightening their customers.
"We have a lot of passion in creating this, we take a lot of pride in people enjoying it," he said. "We take a lot of time, money and everything to make this the best haunted house in West Virginia."
General admission is $11 as well as numerous different packages are available
And we might find out if the Haunted Barn is really haunted. Country Roads Paranormal Investigations was called in by the owners to investigate some supernatural goings-on in the former warehouse.
The Nicholas County-based “ghost-hunters” were setting up their equipment Tuesday night to see what they could find.
"We love the history part of stuff,” Dave Spinks, of Country Roads Paranormal Investigations, said. “We like to come in and if people have claims of being haunted. We want to come in and see if it's actually haunted and debunk it, if it's not, and to help people out."
Country Roads investigators will go through the evidence they collect and, hopefully, present their findings to the Haunted Barn owners by Halloween.
