Media outlets in Huntington competed in a friendly game of quoits Tuesday on Marshall University's campus.
President Stephen Kopp hosted the Annual Media Quoits Challenge as part of Constitution Week on campus.
The game, similar to horseshoes, was John Marshall's favorite. Kopp renewed interest in the game several years ago to honor Marshall, U.S. Supreme Court chief justice and the school’s namesake, during Constitution Week.
"Our traditions are who we are. This is a chance to educate the students, the public and the community on who we are and where we come from," Kopp said.
Eyewitness News Reporters Dan Matics and Darrah Wilcox represented our station in the game that is similar to horseshoes.
