A motorcyclist died from injuries he sustained in a crash in Nicholas County.
Troy Kenneth Short, 58, of Camden-on-Gauley lost control of his motorcycle on Tioga Road on Thursday, according to a news release from the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department.
Short was not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred, deputies said. He was taken to Summersville Regional Medical Center for treatment. Short was then transferred to Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
