A former Mrs. West Virginia United States was arrested Friday for aggravated DUI.
Kanawha County deputies said Marissa Loftis, 27 of Sissonville was speeding on Interstate 77 near Malden at about 2:30 p.m. and almost hit a deputy's cruiser. Police said she had a blood alcohol level almost three times the legal limit.
Police said her passenger, William Shrewsbury, was also three times over the limit and he was charged with permitting DUI. He had been cited earlier in the day for reckless driving.
