Williamson , Mingo County , West Virginia
The lawyer for George White, the victim at the center of the latest Mingo County allegations spoke exclusively to Eyewitness News Thursday.
The information alleges that Sheriff Eugene Crum, Prosecutor Michael Sparks and Commissioner Dave Baisden conspired with Judge Michael Thornsbury to keep White from talking further to the FBI.
The four allegedly developed a plan for White to receive a lighter sentence if he stopped talking and if he fired his attorney, Butch West, and hired Ron Rumora.
"The sheriff was indebted to him for some signs that hadn't been paid for and that he was, for a time there, providing news the sheriff with drugs," Wesy said.
Only Thornsbury has been charged in the latest allegation.
Dave Rockel was also named in the information for helping in White's arrest. Rockel said he did nothing wrong.
