Police said a second person has been arrested in connection with vandalizing vehicles in South Charleston.
Jocelyn Melin was arrested Monday night and is charged with misdemeanor destruction of property, South Charleston police said. Police said they believe Melin slashed a couple of the tires over the weekend and was involved in the vandalism along with David Williams.
Police believe Williams on Saturday night into Sunday morning slashed the tires of 33 vehicles from Kentucky Street to Ohio Street near Thomas Memorial Hospital.
Williams was taken into police custody and was arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court Monday evening.
Police said Williams also is suspected of vandalizing dozens of cars in the same area last week.
