It is being called the biggest Halloween celebration in West Virginia and it is happening in Charleston at the end of October.
A brand new 5K race featuring zombies, a soulful concert at Haddad Park and the return of the costume pub crawl are just some of the things being featured at this year's East End Main Street's HallowEast and FestivALL Fall.
The two festivals are teaming up for the second year in a row and will feature five days of art, music, performances and fun. It runs from Wednesday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Oct. 27.
A new feature this year is the HallowEast Run Like Hell Zombie 5K Run/Walk, which will pit runners against zombies. The race will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at University of Charleston Stadium.
Hybrid Soul and Stratus will headline the FestivALL Fall Ball, a free concert from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, on the Shoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park.
