Two workers were injured Saturday after a leak at the Catalyst Refinery in Institute.
Emergency workers said 75 gallons of nitric acid leaked inside the facility at about 3 p.m.
Two employees were taken to the hospital, one with burns and another who was having trouble breathing.
Both are expected to be pull through.
Nitric acid is a poisonous, clear-to-yellow colored liquid, often used in fertilizers and substances used to clean metal.
Emergency workers said the leak was contained inside the building and the public was never in any danger.
