South Charleston , Kanawha County , West Virginia
Two Kanawha County schools were closing early due to water and power problems.
Hayes Middle School in St. Albans was closing at 11:30 a.m. Friday due to no water, school officials said.
Meanwhile, Ruthlawn Elementary in South Charleston dismissed classes at 9:15 a.m. due to no power at the school, school officials said.
Ruthlawn Elementary in South Charleston is closing early on Friday.
School officials said the school would dismiss students early due to a power issue.
The school is slated to close at 9:15 a.m.
