Summersville, Nicholas County , West Virginia
A woman charged with two counts of concealing a dead body was taken back to the hospital after she started having medical issues during her arraignment.
Wanda Kiser was being arraigned on the charges Thursday. She was bleeding from the nose and was on oxygen. The magistrate asked for paramedics to be called. Kiser was taken to the hospital.
She previously had been hospitalized for an apparent failed suicide attempt.
Her charges follow the Aug. 14 discovery of human remains in a storage unit in Summersville. Alabama authorities said they believe the remains are those of Mary Cobb, 105, and Wynona Delvecchio. The two women went missing in 2002.
State Police said a woman has been charged with two counts of concealing a dead body after two bodies were discovered in a storage unit in Summersville.
Wanda Kiser was arrested Thursday and was being arraigned on the charges. She was bleeding from the nose and is on oxygen. The magistrate asked for a paramedic to be called.
She had been in the hospital for an apparent failed suicide attempt.
The human remains were found Aug. 14 in a Nicholas County storage unit, and Alabama authorities think they may belong to two women who went missing in 2002.
An ABC affiliate station in Alabama said Mary Cobb, 105, and Wynona Delvecchio went missing in 2002 and Alabama authorities said they have information to believe the remains belong to them.
Kiser, 61, a former neighbor, was indicted in July on 17 counts of forgery connected to the missing women.
Authorities said DNA testing on the bodies could take several months.
In 2012, a human skull was found in the crawl space inside the house where Delvecchio lived but the testing on it isn't done.
