A Martinsburg man is West Virginia's newest millionaire.
Harry Seal, an employee of Eagle Auto Parts Inc, purchased the winning ticket at the Citgo on Route 9 in Martinsburg for last Saturday's Powerball drawing. Seal's ticket matched five numbers, winning him $1 million, according to a news release from the West Virginia Lottery.
"This is a dream come true," Seal said. "I plan to keep working and use the money to pay off some bills, do some house repairs and save for the future."
West Virginia Lottery Director John Musgrave presented Seal the $1 million check during a ceremony Thursday at the lottery headquarters in Charleston.
Seal is pictured here with his wife, Donna, and his granddaughter Ashley.
He is for the fourth Match 5 $1 million Powerball winner in West Virginia this year.
The West Virginia Lottery will be unveiling the state's newest millionaire.
Lottery Director John Musgrave on Thursday plans to introduce the winner of $1 million. The ticket was sold for last Saturday's Powerball drawing.
Musgrave said the ticket was sold in Martinsburg.
