West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey took to the national airwaves Monday to discuss his concerns about privacy and Obamacare.
Morrisey and other attorney generals have sent a letter to Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The attorney generals are concerned about the new navigator program that will help people enroll in the Affordable Care Act.
Morrisey said the "navigators" have not been given enough training or standards to follow and he and other attorney generals believe consumers will be vulnerable.
"When you have poorly trained people trying to collect sensitive information, so we're hopeful that Secretary Sebelius recognizes the sensitivity and the importance of this threat to consumers' privacy and takes meaningful steps to address it," Morrisey said in an interview on Fox News.
The attorney generals have asked Sebelius for a response by the end of August. The Affordable Care Act goes into effect in 32 days.
